Thanks, youve pointed me to the right direction. I suggest also posting on the Dota 2 Steam Forums here as there may be people who have had this issue before or know how to fix it. You may also find some other causes through that Reddit post so I highly suggest giving it a read through and seeing if there's something that may fix your problem. Follow the steps below to reinstall Steam.I'm no pro on this one, so I did some googling and apparently one of the causes can be subscribing to guides. If all the above methods fail to work, you may consider reinstalling Steam. Now, relaunch the Steam client and check if you have fixed the manifest unavailable Steam error. Tick the checkbox next to Turn off Windows Defender Firewall (not recommended) and click on OK to save the changes. Click on Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off at the left side. Type firewall in the search box and select Windows Defender Firewall from the best match. To resolve the manifest error Steam, you can turn off Windows Defender temporarily. Sometimes, the Windows Defender Firewall can block Steam from accessing manifest.
